Meeting Michelle, by Gigi

It was my second time meeting Michelle, as I met her a year ago at the same event- the london expo, but I didn’t speak to her, I just got my photo signed, particularly because I was so starstruck. This year was so much better. Firstly, I saw her when she got up to go to lunch and she smiled at me and I got worried she was leaving and she said she’d be coming back. Later on in the day I decided to go ahead and get her autograph again, even though I already had it (it cost fifteen pounds), just to meet her up close again. When it was my turn she smiled at me again and I asked her if I could take a photo with her and she leaned across the table towards me. Later on I went to the table she was signing at again and the queue’s had got smaller. I took a few photos, Michelle’s mom was next to her and I asked if I could take them together, but her Mom didn’t want to have her picture taken, but it was okay because I got a good one of Michelle on her own. I hung around for a bit more, when nobody was there to have something signed and I asked her if I could take a proper picture with her and she said yes and I went round the back of a table and she stood up and put her arm round me which was sweet of her. This was definitely better than the first time I met Michelle and she so good to come to the London for the day (she flew over in the morning and then was flying to Prague in the evening) and meet her fans. When she left, I went back to the table and took her coffee cup. So I have Michelle’s coffee cup, complete with lipstick stain and it still had coffee in it. Meeting Michelle was one of the best days of my life and I’ll look forward to seeing her again because she is such a nice person.

So how would you feel if you were standing on a street corner minding your own business. You look over to your right, and standing no more than 12" away from you is Michelle Trachtenberg. Well, that's what happened to me! I've been a fan of Michelle and her work forever. I just recently moved to Los Angeles to start a new job and was at the premiere of "The Grudge" in Westwood Village on Tuesday. I just wanted to say that Michelle was super cool and sweet and even took the time to pose for a picture and sign an autograph. She rocks, and I'm an even bigger fan now than I was before. She was more stunning in real life than in many of the pictures I've seen of her.

I very recently met Michelle at a local club in hollywood, Club Tiger Heat. She was there with her boyfriend and i got a chance to talk to her for a few moments before she went upstairs to the private section. She was extremely nice and talked to me about a couple of different things. As a fan of Buffy, it was great to meet one of the cast memberes and find out what a great person she really is. And she looked really beautiful too, in a black top and blue jeans. Plus she's very short in real life. We talked about her being on buffy, how sad we both were that the show was over, how she loved her boyfriend (Shawn) and loved being at the club.

I met Michelle, and it was when I was a HUGE Harriet the Spy fan (eighth grade...'bout five years ago?). She came as a part of some Nickelodeon program for innercity school kids and I performed in an improv skit with her along with a couple of my peers. It was an exciting day; I remember shaking and being very giddy. I was surprised at how petite she was too. She wore huge platform shoes--they were kinda in at that time--and her hair was long and impecable.
