Michelle || Family

Starting acting at such a young age must have been tough. But luckily for Michelle she has always had her family to turn to when she needed anything. They are one of the most important things in her life. Here we will profile Michelle's family members and her views on them. I'm not sure if she still does but in the past Michelle lived in California with her mother, Lana. Her father stayed in New York when her and her mother moved to California because of her blossoming acting career. Michelle also has an older sister, Irene, who I'm unaware of her location of residence. Also added to the family quite some time ago was Michelle's cat named Casey.

Mother:
Lana Trachtenberg is a former actress who later became a puppeteer. When Michelle's acting career started taking off Lana started managing her. She is loved very much by Michelle and is often spoken of. Michelle has also previously stated that her mother was one of her heroes.




Father: Michael as far as we know isnt very involved in Michelle's busy life. He is a fiber optics/telephone engineer living in Brooklyn, New York. Although he doesn't get to see his wife or daughter very much he is still a wonderful father and husband and keeps in touch while Michelle is away filming.



Older Sister:
Having a sister a couple years younger than you who is on their way to international stardom would have been tough, if you werent the sister of Michelle Trachtenberg. Irene as a college graduate still finds time to have fun with her sister. They go out shopping, to movies, and Irene often accompanies Michelle to various events.
